from the Field

"I have worked many hours after school with children. In the after school programs and summer programs I have been asked to bring ideas, thoughts, and new lessons and use them with the children. Even in my church I apply the ideas and skills I have learned to the teaching in Sunday school.

I very much enjoy kids, and bring motivation, creativity, fun and commitment to the job. I very much want a career working with children because it has always been a passion of mine. This program gives me a head start in my future plans. I would be able to use it not only with teaching children, but as I prepare to go to college, would also be able to use it with new people I meet and the educational programs I take to prepare to become a teacher."
